Movie in the Park
"Movies in the Park" Fundraiser
The 2nd Annual "Movie in the Park" was held August 29, 2009.
Many in the community showed up to support our cause, including
Bonny Giesen's artists who sold copies of their artwork to raise
money for the theatre. Approximately $4,000 was raised through
the auction and hog ticket sales. This year a live goat was sold
in the auction! The Adventures of the Wilderness Family
was enjoyed by many who stayed after dark.
We had a fundraiser last night, September 20, 2008, and raised a
preliminary $5,000 for the theatre! Hot dogs, soda, popcorn, and
other goodies were provided for movie goers who enjoyed the
beautiful weather, as well as exciting auctions of gifts donated
by various community members and businesses. At dusk, we watched
the movies made last year by the high school video production
class. A fun time was had by all! Thank you to all for our
